Literal translation: peruš|laki basic|law.

What is the purpose of a Constitution? It is the fundamental law of the state, which has the highest legal force. The Constitution defines the foundations of the political, legal and economic systems of the state. In most countries, the Constitution is adopted by a constituent assembly or by referendum.

the Constitution of the RSFSR in Cyrillic Karelian, 1938 y.

The only mention of the term Constitution in Karelian that I found on the Internet is the Constitution of the RSFSR in Cyrillic Karelian from the Stalin era.

The current Constitution of the Republic of Karelia can be found on the Official Web Portal

I think that since it is unrealistic to switch to Karelian completely now, because many of us were not taught it at school, in order to preserve and popularize our trade and financial terms, we can use them at least as modern synonyms. In this way, we will diversify the vocabulary of the residents of the Republic of Karelia, preserve the cultural heritage of our small nations and support the desire for friendship and mutual understanding.

Karelian language for life in the 21st century

Since trade plays a major role in our lives, we buy or sell goods and services every day, I see the study and preservation of the Karelian language for myself, first of all, in this area. Reading the description of the travels of Elias Lönnrot in the first half of the 19th century, I was very surprised by the development of trading skills among the northern Karelians of those years. Our ancestors were successfully engaged in trade throughout Fennoscandia and our task is to preserve all their experience.

I want to select the minimum number of words and simple phrases that anyone can learn to be able to use the Karelian language in everyday life.
