The former building was built in 1929 for the SSPC (Solovetsky Special Purpose Camps) Administration (Russian: СЛОН — Соловецкие лагеря особого назначения). Now there is an excellent night club «Priboy» and a shop here.

Nearby is the monastery building.

Inscription: the building was built in 1928 by prisoners of the Solovetsky special purpose camp SLON OGPU. Eternal memory for the faith of Christ to those who suffered!
